Local Emergency Organisation's Day

Don’t miss your chance to talk with the many local emergency volunteers, see their equipment and find out about what they do.

In an emergency, many different skills can be needed. Local emergency volunteers will be available on Dunstable Downs to talk about the valuable work they do. Many groups will be present, where possible, bringing with them their emergency vehicles and control units. Voluntary groups represented will include Search Dogs Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire Boat Rescue, British Red Cross, Blood Runners (SERV) Herts & Beds, BHC 4x4 Response/Herts 4 x 4 and Midshires Search and Rescue. Entrance is free

We are aiming for a family event and hope we have included something for everyone. 
We want to show people that all skills are useful in an emergency and no matter what your age, no matter what your personal interest or skill there will be a way that you can join with others to help out
